Pertronix bought the Crane tooling and calls it the Pertronix III http://www.jegs.com/i/Pertronix/751/71181/10002/-1 This is what I would use if I had to do a conversion now. there have been some problems with the original Pertronix.
I had lots of problems with Petronix 1 and 2. The gap could never be consistant on thta stupid ring in the #1
Copperheadgs1, I didn't list the Lectric limited 'cause I want a simple rev limiter more than the single stock looking wire; And yes, I am normally a stock freak.
I have had my Pertronix Ignitor I since 1999, and have never had ANY trouble with it.... The Pertronix II is a part I am unfamiliar with....
