    Good question on the Holley line. I installed a new tank, came with the pump.

    If that FITECH-system really works well it would be a total game changer because at that price level it becomes much harder to justify a carb which - if you want it to perform even close to an EFI - HAS to be tuned by a shop on a dyno. If you factor that cost in this system might even be cheaper than a carb. I personally run 3 FAST EZ EFI version 1 and so far have been lucky with them…no bad boxes yet…and i have to say that power and driveability are much improved over a carb - especially with aggressive cams. Many cars in my collections have been bought from other enthusiasts and do run well with a carb….but do i know if they are set up perfectly ? NO! I might leave power on the table, run too rich or - even worse - run lean without even knowing it. As most people i will not take the effort and time and cost to finteune each car on a dyno so having an EFI and seeing that the A/F-ratio is spot on is a nice feeling….so if this system is good i will not even bother to go to a dyno but buy one of theses systems if i have carb problems...

    Eric, you need to do a detailed thread on this. I agree that if this system works as advertise it will be a game changer. I know I am saving my money right now for the blow through system. I was thinking of sending my carb to CSU for more work. At least $500. $1500 to say good bye to the compromises of a carbureted system.

    I am REALLY curious what the pump sound level will be with this setup. The can looks to be made from cast aluminum so it may soak up the whine of the pump pretty well but having it under the hood or more to the point IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER is not going to be a very forgiving place for something making the type of noise an electric fuel pump makes.

    can you use a efi ready fuel tank with fuel pump and sending unit already fitted. if I was to go with the fetech what would I need to order if I went with the efi complete tank set up

    Should be no problem. Info I got back was my SX Performance (now Edelbrock) pump would work fine with the correct regulator.

    That setup that he bought with the EFI kit is for if you want to run your mechanical pump from the tank to the new up front tank that feeds the EFI. With that setup you don't need to run a return line all the way to the back of the car where the main tank is, you just plumb the return line to the new up front tank that has the high pressure pump in it.

    That setup would even be good if someone doesn't want to buy their EFI kit and goes with someone else's kit to retain the mechanical pump setup in the car and still be able to run EFI.

    Agreed, that is a NICE surge tank with built in pump.

    "Holley just announced a new low cost TBI system, the "Sniper EFI" which appears to be directly aimed at the FItech product. I saw it today at SEMA and it looks very similar, if not identical, and is at the same price point as FItech. Both 4 injector units rated @ 600 HP and 8 injector units rated @ 1200 HP are offered.

    It is scheduled for release Q1 of 2016."

    Seen this posted today in the Pontiac forum I was reading a review of the FItech system in post # 224;

    Bump for Mart, he wanted to see the link for the EFI.

    Mart skim through the rest of the thread and you'll see someone who ordered one of the FI from here and has posted some pics in this thread.

    And I'm in Spring Creek. Better put a cruise together I guess.

    Looking hard at the FiTech 800HP unit for this Spring to combo with the 5spd Tremec already in.
