Just sold a few small things and the fees they charged were more than what I made from the sales. They charged a fee of $4.25 on shipping that was $14????????????????? How do people sell things anymore?
I guess a lot of sellers feel that way, there's not much on there anymore and I seldom buy there these days. It looks like Facebook marketplace is taking over.
Yeah, even a blank profile one. But it’s less trustworthy to people than a full account, but it could still work and be free.
I would think so but I could be wrong. Very similar to eBay. You can post your item with a good amount of pictures(10+ I think). Then people will message you, you can chat back & forth, work out payment, pick-up, shipping etc... I’ve sold a handful of stuff on FB Marketplace. Also bought a few things. Kyle
You need a Facebook account or a wife with one. The problem with Facebook is any one can start 50000 groups named everything under the sun and post exactly what you want. But would never find it since you may not be in that group and no way to search every group in your area or every post near you. So you will come up with everything in the world in the searches. Hopefully they will eventually have everything on marketplace and make it easier.
Gotta a wife with an account, but its bad enough when complaints are based on package volume. I'm scared if she see cash volume.
As of oct 1, eBay is collecting sales tax on my purchases. I guess the state was feeling left out. Kinda cuts into the bargain aspect of it . I guess rockauto will be doing that too.
It’s been sad watching ebay’s decline. They got mad greedy. My theory is the ‘automatic relist’ of an unsold item is to bolster falling participation.
ebay should have never left the businesses on, here is a hula doll, fit's 1967 Buick I amassed tons of NOS parts I would have never seen or found at swap meets on eBay for years - people that had stuff threw it on teBay that would have never taken a part to a swap meet, alot of the speciality dealership parafunalia also went on ebay that would have been tossed out normally. Used to be fun perusing eBay, now it's a chore, but there are still hidden NOS bargains to be found. Of course I am not sure what is worse, what eBay/Paypal charges or what the USPS charges for a package
You mean just like eBay? I searched for 1973 Buick parts and thousands of items show, including key chains and other stupid crap that isn't even for a car.
