Curtis, that's SWEET! CarFix is the only car show I can tolerate these days other than OverHaulin'. Those guys are great. No phony deadlines or worse, phoney drama, just two guys who really know cars and fabrication showing how it's done.

Man, your car was clean when they got it. Did you detail it prior to them picking it up? Looks like you used a lift and 20,000 Q-tups. It's tough keeping the underside that spotless up here in the Northeast.

Thanks for getting Buick some exposure. I noted how they said Buicks are "rare" several times. I have a feeling that those of us that appreciate Buicks are more rare than the cars. I started counting this year how many times people call my wife's GS a Chevelle. I'm up to 11 so far.

The car is in nice shape. But showed super nice on tv. I am very proud of it.

I washed the car and wiped it down before bringing it to them. But it got dusty on the back of the aaa truck.

The show didn't detail it. What you see is what the car is. It had a frame off at one time (7-8 years ago) so everything is painted and nice for the most part.

It looked so good to me too.

Awesome show Curtis, You're car looks new under the hood. That guy scratched your exhaust pulling the drive shaft though.

Ha! Believe me the car showed much better on TV, there's no doubt Im very proud of how it looked.
A scratch on the exhaust doesn't bother me, it goes along with the rest of them!

I guess I'm really late to this party! I text a Buick buddy last night to inform him of a Buick on Car Fix. He sent me this thread explaining it all. Pretty fun stuff.
On a related note one of my Mopar buddies from Youngstown oh is one of the mechanics for the me Fat and Furious.

I guess this was what you saw Friday night?
I was as surprised as anyone to see it. I knew this episode was about BMWs as I was there for taping. But they did the show opener before I got there that day. It made my night!
