My choke works properly closes when its cold opens slowly as temps rise:beer for some reason I think it may be the ethonal in the gas. How do you know that its running rich?? If you're just going by the smell at idle, then that is only idle mixture and nothing else. How do you know what the other circuits in your carb are doing??

well so far the new wires have been a big help. no wires in contact with any metal. plug gaps are still stock specs. cap and rotor are good. no mor missfires as of yet:TU:
