I've got a 4" scratch on the front bumper of the beater truck daily driver. I'm going to put some over top of that. We've got about the most abusive and abrasive ice melt I've ever seen used here in town, and they use a ridiculous quantity of it. I'll post pics and results in the next month or two, so we know how it stands up in an extreme environment.

See what we started Luke? All of a sudden everyone woke up. Now if they'd read the "Mad Dash" thred I'd feel vindicated. Gotta slide in over there for a bit, but yer job turned out swell... ws

I am planning on ordering the Molotow liquid chrome pens-individually or set on ebay. But have a question: was the gauge cluster originally chrome trimmed or silver trimmed?

It was completely chromed and the painted. The unpainted back side survives as a chrome finish. I just wonder about some of the techniques the factory used making 10,000 dash panels (the devil is in the details!). Bottom two pics are silver vs MOLOTOW chrome. Probably 50% brighter in real life. OEM was bright on just the gage rims. With an unsteady 63 year old hand it was easier to follow the contours (wider lines) but I dont judge hahaha... ws
