Car Show Today --Low 70s Temp

With the temps in the low 70s we had a nice car show here today at a local hangout. On New Years Day who would have thunk it?

70s here forecast through the week. Spring is early. I see flower bulbs sprouting.

It actually hit the 60s in New York. It was like a spring day. I even took the car out of the garage and ran it in the driveway. Didnt dare go in the street! The street is still white from all the salt! I would never have thunked it either!

So when you gonna open the Winter TSP shop Jim?... So I can "winter" down there..

In the low 20's, and raining ice here.. and yes, it is as weird as it sounds.

I guess some of us were duped into the old saying "If you cant take the winter, you dont deserve the summer" !!

    Jim,
You can offer all you want to JW he will never leave Minnesnowta!

When he gets old and comes to his senses, he will realize there are better climates to live and play in besides arctic tundra weather for 4-5 months a year. :TU:

  10. It was 67 degrees down here in North Alabama. This weekends weather was so good I ran power in a conduit out to the shed, put two motor mounts on the Wildcat, and set fire to the burn pile. :bglasses:

So, some of you are shoveling snow?

Anywho.. you notice I said "winter" down at Jim's place... I have been in your part of the world in June...

    No thanks..

I think I ate 5 tires off the enclosed trailer coming back up thru Atlanta, the road surface was like 12,000 degrees..

Now.. don't you have some hulla girls to chase?

    hey.. quit rubbing it in..

And why do we live here..

Well, for starters, we don't have road signs in any other language than english..

And the cold keeps the riff-raff off the streets..

It got up to about 50 here. I know we here in Iowa, at least in the lee county area, are going to pay greatly for all this good weather sometime or another.

It's nice to see a shop actually complete a restoration on a Buick.

    Very nice work.
