Car Show Peer vs Club Event

    I had to learn the hard way, about car shows you attend, and shows you stay away from. Never, never go to a car show in conjunction with another event, like a fair, picnic, or gathering of people, who did not go, to exclusively check out cool cars. I took my '55 chev to a fair that also hosted a car show. I was checking out the other rides, and returned to see a line of people waiting for their turn to sit in the neat red car, and shift the gears!!! Someone removed the air cleaners to "get a better look" at the dual quads! I quickly buttoned up everything, and got the hell out of there, as fast as possible. I had to rub out the fenders, to remove all the finger prints. If they are'nt car buffs, they just dont get it!! :Dou:
