$121 litre regulated price for regular around here this week - will probably go up again tomorrow (every fri), so $1 sounds good to me.

Just went up to $1.109 per litre today...Great...

If this keeps up I'll have to take out a second mortgage to fill the tank.

Might as well put a couple of computer screens in there and rig the thing up a simulator; that might be the only way I can enjoy it in the future.

MS is one of the better states. Still "just" $3.29 a gallon for regular.

In Pa it's $3.49 a gallon right now. I look at it this way....I'm gonna cruise as much as I can within reason. I'm not gonna let it ruin what I love to do. Here in Pa with road salt and cold you give up months of cruising anyway and look forward to spring. What it means to me though is that I may have to make choices to only attend events a little closer to home. Work full time as a Safety Manager for a 3 PL warehousing company and part time, when I can, at a pair of local self service car washes on the side. kind of like therapy you know? Will have to log more hours at the washes (my mad money source) and I won't be taking the big Buicks to the washes on Sat mornings like I did. On an early spring day I used to enjoy dropping the top on the way home from the carwashes when it warmed up to about 65 degrees.

I remember taking my dads car down to the gas station during the oil embargo in the 70's. The odd, even days set up. My dad car pooled to work daily (with his 4 door Skylark) and I remember him giving me strict instructions to go get it filled up for him so he could go to work with a full tank on the days he had to drive. I remember him complaining about the prices back then and now I see myself doing the same thing. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree I guess huh?

Unleaded 93 is at just short of 4.00 a gallon in NE Pa. Just in time for my project 1966 Wildcat to come out of the garage! I am resigned to the fact that I am still going to cruise despite the high price of fuel. Just gotta a look at where I go. Probably stay away from the longer distance cruise spots with the Wcat unless the event is really special. My 65 LeSabre conv wth the 300 4bbl is a better choice for the longer distance rides. If you don't get into it the car gets decent mpg.

93 is $4.00 a gallon here right now. I filled the Buick up yestreday and we went cruising for the rest of the day and to visit our son at college and take him out for supper. Also to the cruise night in Pensacola. Probably put about 130 miles or so on it by the time we got back home. It most certainly hurts to fill it up but driving the car all day makes it all better. As long as I can still afford it I'm going to keep doing it, but I do feel bad for those who can't.

The wife and I have been hanging out in Half Moon Bay in Northern California for the last few days and as we left today we paid $4.50 a gallon for the mid grade 89 at the local Chevron. Thank goodness it is a top tier gasoline, right? I will spare you all the price of 91 octane there, way too depressing.
