I pulled up in the driveway the other day to find my 19yr old son sitting in the Riv doing what I first thought was garage miles. What he was really doing was watching my gas gage drop as he was sucking the 93 outta my tank with a electric fuel pump hooked to a batt charger.:eek2: :Dou: :error: There should be a emocon of me strangling him

My work is now letting me drive their vehicle back and forth from work. Buick can rest a little now! College student with a company vehicle? They must like me.

That is something I did at his age. There wasn't a tractor out in the fields that was safe if it was running on gas.I never had the option of an electric fuel pump. Probably swilled a gal of gas throughout those years.

    Easy solution:
Congress ban oil futures trading in the US.

I have put many garage miles on mine, it works as motovation for me to get it done, even though when I look through the windsheild there is no motor, hood, fender, radiator ect....

Grip the wheel tightly and close your eyes. Let your imagination be your eyes.

looks like my 73 as well as my 70 will only be coming out of the garage this year to be washed and started up to run. Not going to be able to afford gas, license etc....again...

I can't even sit in mine as it does not currently have any seats.

Restoration is a long slow proccess.

Another; re-open drilling in the gulf, including off the Florida coast. . AND, Alaska. Gas went up $0.21 last week.

How is banning oil futures trading going to lower prices? Do you even know what futures trading is and how it works? Obviously not.

I put a locking gas cap on mine. At $130.00 a fill I can't afford to let the neighborhood kids use my car as a gas station.

Around here we make the stuff, and we still get fisted on it; gas is currently CDN $4.81 per gallon for regular; (most of it is tax) that would be about $5.00 in your money...

Premium is $5.26 a gallon, and then add the supplements...don't think I'm going to be driving too much this year...

I have half a tank right now.. Which will be used up to take the car to work and back in two weeks when we have our Friday cruise.. I think 91 has passed $4..... :Dou:

Regular this morning is at $1.23 / liter, equates to $4.78, in U.S. gallons in U.S. dollars.
Canadian (Imperial) gallon in Canadian dollars $5.58

I guess we're lucky, it's only a $1.059 per litre here; and we make the junk!

So much for the "Alberta Advantage"...

Now, if only we could get those tree-huggers off of our case we could maybe refine and sell more of it and maybe bring the prices down...
