www.digital-tutors.com has a good set of photoshop tutorials that use quicktime movies to show you how to do things.. VERY good... and then there's http://www.3dbuzz.com/ which is similar but uses divx i think.. give them both a try if you're on broadband
I have a program that Glidden Paints sells at Home Depot for about $5 that does a good job with projects like this. It's used for taking pictures of your room or house and seeing what they would look like with different colors on them, but you can import any digital photo and use that. I'm not sure how it would look, trying to color something that is already black though. It's not as powerful as Photoshop, but is easy to use and you can't beat it for $5. It leaves all of the shadows and just lays a hue over the areas that you select. Scott
Here is a free program you can download to do color changes. It takes a little getting used to- it's difficult to use.
Thanks Pete. I will have to work on the pen thing. It isn't as easy as it looks. And I will be sure to play with the different layer effects. If I have anymore questions I will let ya know.
