He's sooooooooooooooooooooooo cute :TU: and a full head of hair to boot. How's he sleeping? Congrats again Beth
Marvin, My wife had a C section for the twins. It is amazingly routine. My daughter was breech up high and my son was poised to deliver headfirst out the "driveway" but his head couldn't pass through. We decided to go for it and do the C section because the vitals were starting to become unfavorable. (for the kids). Twenty minutes later, they were out. Just a heads up. Witnessing a C section up close as I did is not for everybody. They hold the insides of her body in their hand like it was playdoh and move everything around like nothing, to get the babies out. I didn't mind it at all, but some people can't hack it. Don't be afraid though; while an invasive surgery, it's quite straight forward and the recovery for my wife was extremely fast. She went slightly toxic following the birth, but that is easily controlled with meds and fluids and that also doesn't mean that your wife will. The moment is engrained in my brain forever when they pulled my son out and held him up. Engrained like a freaking glass etching. Then, to add to the bonus, they pulled out my daughter. We didn't know what they were, but we had names all picked out. Good luck and don't worry. Just ask lots of questions and know what to expect. Be educated, if for no other reason than to know what's going on.
Thanks everybody, I had a pretty good view of the surgery and it didnt look that bad. My mother in law was there as well and she tought it was horrible (she said that she still thinks about what she saw) its been 12 days now since he was born and i'm averagin 4 hours of sleep  I LOVE IT!!!!
:eek2: Geeez Marvin, ya scared me half to death when I read the thread title!! This being the sort of BBS that deals mostly with advice on DIY projects my first thoughts nearly knocked me off my chair! :error: Congrats of the little one :TU:
