Buyer must really beware on ebay.........

    I can see it in the first pic...it's in the shadow. Nothing looks broken to me!:grin:

    I see the hole now Its hidden in the cast iron. This is done with smoke and mirrors all the time.

    I can see it Adam.........this is a lesson to be learned..........check your photo's carefully before posting them on ebay. And maybe I need glasses. :Dou:

    i'm a drafter and have a lot of experience with video games and work prints and such so i've probably got a better grasp of the rotation of 2d/3d objects than your average bear but most of this was caused because our ebayer doesn't understand much about perspective or presentation. if he had moved the camera in the original pic even 5 to the left before he took the picture i'm sure we wouldn't have ever had this discussion.

    it is pretty difficult to see and to understand the perspective change between the two pics it does help quite a bit to be used to doing things like that.

    That doesn't look to bad judging from the pictures.
    Shouldn't it have 455 badges on the fenders below the name Centurion?

    If it was a 73, then yes it would have 455 badges. 71 and 72 Centurions had the 455 standard - like the Wildcat..

    The vin on the Ebay Centurion from Alton indicated a high perf 455 with the bigger valves. Might even have a posi in it.
