Ding, ding, ding! Rick you are the winner! LOL

I sure hope any potential bidder notices that also. The seller would have to be a complete idiot not to know it either. :bglasses:

I also noticed his "absolutely no returns ever for any reason even if I ripped you off and intended to" in there.

I emailed the seller to tell him. I'm sure he will be as shocked as all of us and immediately remove the item from ebay!!

Just got an email from the seller...

He apologized for the poor photography and said that the starter does have both ears. He was planning to post a new picture. Now that I stare at the old picture, I think I can see a hole in the very bottom of the left ear, almost completely obscured by the starter.

You never know. Let's see the updated picture.

    I think it's a broken ear too!

Maybe it's not broken so that the hole is missing...,maybe just enough to weaken the mount.

He told me it wasn't broken as well. He was nice about it.

It looked broken to me!! I'm gonna stick with the ole "that ain't the same starter in the new picture" explanation. :Dou:

    Busted!

It clearly looks to be broken in the first set of pictures.
If you look at his new pic he added, and rotate it so the starter would be laying in the same position as the first, that ear would be visible in the first set of pictures.....If it were there that is! (Does that make sense?)
I don't think it is the same part.

Edit: Can't seem to attach the photo I rotated! [IMG]

now c'mon guys, the pic in the 'nose on' position is rotated 180 from the original picture. the color is washed out and the focus is slightly off because he had the camera too close to it (you can even see that he's using his knees to prop the starter up vertically which would put the camera ~1ft from the top of the starter, probably not the smartest choice on his part).

if you consider the flip and perspective change from the first pic i would say that our 'missing ear' is holding the starter up off of the counter top.

might i recommend some 'Grey Poop-on' mustard for those shorts
    nailhead? :spank: :pp

I prefer French's! (ROTFLMAO) Actually, after being hosed a few times on ebay, I agree with Dale.........I don't see how that ear could magically dissappear from his original photo.

If this guy's telling the truth, I feel sorry for him.........it's the rest of them who breed mistrust. :bglasses:
