Just checking, any word on if there is a track rental that fri the day before? And,is everything still a go for the 26th?I plan on going, Paul
Don't know if there is a rental yet but maybe shoot the track an email. Also just heard that the Ford event was rained out last week & they will be joining us That means it will probably be crowed so make sure you are they early & be ready to race so you can get as many time shots as possible.
I'm sure guys will bring some cars that won't be racing but there is no formal show or swap meet. Our big meet will be in the fall at Cecil County Dragway for the East Coast Regionals.
Unfair, went to the track last night. They announced over the speaker that this weekend was "Ford" weekend and anyone who brings their Ford enters for free. Said nothing about buicks
That must have been a misunderstanding. There is no way that they would let anybody in for free, :dollar: let alone anybody with a Ford.
The Fords are there becuase of a rainout from their day.Oh yeah, also an open test n tune, should'nt be to crowded!!!!!
Had to leave the track a little early today, but what a nice day at Lebanon Valley!! Got to hang out with the guys from the chapter and watch some awesome racing!! Great to also meet guys from the club I had not met before. I got some good video of some races on camcorder, but gotta figure how to get on youtube. Safe ride home to all.
I'll be pulling the engine tomorrow to see where all hell broke loose... Think it sucked in a intake gasket, along with the coolant. Did go 10.24@130, somewhat happy with that.
Sorry to hear about the motor Jeff:ball: . Glad for your time though. Bring it down to Cecil in the fall & that would be a 9:92!:TU:
Just want to post a big "Thanks" to John (and everyone involved) for putting the Buick day together. Looked like we had a pretty good turnout. Lots of familiar faces. It was a great time hanging around with the club and running down the track a few times. Looking forward to the next event!
