4 Front mounts under firewall had either orange or purple stripes on them for 70 depending on build date if you want to look correct.
Dude Paint them! They Look cool! I used SEM. Cleaned them Real good with Raw Bumper cleaner soap from Spies Hecker!! But you guys can't find that stuff unless you go to Paint Supply! ain't cheap... they are rubber... don't know what else you can use. Polmolive dish soap and ounce or 2 of vinegar?????
Appreciate all the info ,Dave & Steve. I'm building a Resto-Rod, so performance takes priority over correctness. Living minutes away from NEDragway, the car will see track time. There will also be spirited drives to the IceCream Shop! Poly bushings / Del-a-lum bearings on suspension. I chose to use rubber for body mounts so there is a little give, resulting in a better ride. Dave, in the summer when body is on frame, I may grab those rear springs from you if my ride height is too high. Assuming you still have.....Jim/Rott
Yes, meant to inquire and was hoping you would jump in Dave. I know there are two plugins adjacent the top spring perches. Do the other 2 plugins go just ahead of them? Jim/Rott
Yes two go on top over the rear axle and two just in front lower down. I still have the springs if you want them.
Ok, got that all squared away. Now next mini-hurdle is sourcing a provider for the smaller diameter core support mounts. I would run out to the garage and measure hole in the frame, but it is snowing, again. Looking forward to finishing up media blasting, welding/panel replacement, rough bodywork, so I can put shell on frame and free up half the garage. Tired of weaving thru the trails and bumping into everything. Thanx all, Jim/Rott
OK, disregard..... Downloaded chassis manual and figured that out, thanks to a diagram re: core support mounts.
Yes core support mounts were the same as the ones used in most of the other areas where bolts were used.
I have the box either downstairs in the basement or out in the garage. I'm done for the day , but I'll get ya an answer tomorrow. Jim/Rott
First , I apologize for taking this long to reply back. This is the kit I bought: I did end up short 2 press in pads/bushings. Jim
I got the vert set and have enough..I wont be needing the 4 pads that go on the rear section of the frame for spacers if anyone would need them...My frame has been backhalved and there are no provisions for them..Thanks for the info!!!
I could use 2 of them, was going to use a pair of low mile ones. Lemme know what you want for shipping. I'll PM ya my address in the am. Jim
