He sells a lot of NOS parts on EBAY. I just bought a pair of 65 special tail lights that he advertised as NOS and you guessed it, they were a nice set of used tail lights. If you paid with a USPS money order, and the transaction was across state lines, you can get him for fraud I believe.
They get away with it as eBay has no strong definition of what NOS means. So you can put NOS in any auction and it doesnt have to be what most think of NOS, unless its spelled out New Old Stock in the auction. Could be Nice Old Stuff.
We will see, I just bought a nos taillight lense from him and here is what the listing said: "IF WE LIST SOMETHING AS N.O.S. IT WE BE A NEVER BEEN INSTALLED WITH ONLY POSSIBLE SHELF WEAR" That is a direct cut-and-paste from Ebay. I sent him a check so it will take awhile to get my part.
He's well known as trouble. Stay away. From what I understand he also likes to buy your NOS and charge it back through paypal as either not received or damaged. He is well versed at how to "play the game". Rick
I never use to buy from anyone who only took a MO or check but now that CC companies are giving out checks to use, with the same protections, you can buy without fear as you can dispute it.

Shouldn't have done that, he can dispute it with EBay for an illegal link in the feedback and get all of your bad feedback removed. I know, as I have tried that before and at one time it did work, till folks started to dispute it and ebay change the rules.
I bought some stuff from Greg about 6 years ago, and was pleased. I've always known him to be somewhat predatory in acquiring NOS '66 parts on ebay, to the point that I pretty much knew he'd outbid anyone to get them. I am sorry to hear all of this. I mentioned above that I was waiting for a nos taillight lense from him and it came in and it was in great shape. The packaging was excellent and he shipped on time. No complaints here.

To sell your info probably, why so many auctions force the use of their shopping cart to pay. To gather your info to be sold to marketing places. I always give them the run around that it won't work for me and they end up just givin me their address for paypal to pay direct.
