I don't say this much but, That is a electrical work of art as per the rest of the car and like the relay configuration!!! :TU:.

Not sure how "hard" it will leave, I 'm running an Edelbrock progressive nitrous controller, so I can dial in the "hit"..That Wild Street class doesn't allow wheelie bars, and I'm broke!! So not worrying about that expense.. The relay panel and switch panel are from ARC, I can only take credit for rewiring and reconfiguring the electrical system. Wiring was bad, several items tapped off the stock fuse box, many splices, many stock wires that went to nothing, and the roll cage went right thru the firewall where the fuse box was.... Ya know how it is, a street car that "progressed" into a race car, now it's way safer, lighter, and easy deal with.. The ARC "system" is pretty awesome, if ya need to rewire/ change switches, check them out. Hope to get the car weighed and see where we are, new motor is lighter, cage maybe alittle heavier, but took out weight in other areas. Best 60 ft, with a motor that made just about 100 horse less than this one, was 1.26.Can't wait to see how it runs on motor alone, even thought this is a nitrous specific set up, it should be a decent reference..

Incredible. It even has tilt steering and a dash clock! Gosh the 65 Larks sure are good looking with the lovely, long taillights. I always admired the little Skylark chrome emblems on the front quarter panels as well. I take it your Lark has passed tech inspection and is ready to race. I will be looking forward to time slips posted as well as pics of victory beverages!

Sorry mate, I didnt mean the pressure is on for you to perform, as I am sure you will, but pressure to get some clips up as we all like watching clips :TU:

Looks alone will get respect for that bada$$. Love it. And if you blow the top off I have an extra one you can have to replace it.

I took the car out on Sat. to Barona Drag strip, local 1/8th mile track, I haven't raced there or anywhere in almost 3 years.... Shake down pass, car is built for nitrous, and on motor its pretty slow.... Had to hit the nitrous to get it out of its own way, just a small shot, running drag radials using the progressive controller, ran OK, but theres alot more in it and a long way to go. Ran a 6.01 @ 119mph with a poor 1.40 60 ft.Here'a a You Tube link to the video, hope it works...Gary G.
