Are the '62 Skylarks not desirable anymore?

    Man, if times were different. I've always wanted one of those early Skylarks. Too far away, no room, no dough. :(

    I bought my 64 Riv without a title after I checked with the DMV here in California to be sure it was out of the system. Paid a title service $150 to get it put in my name. He came to the house, did the VIN inspection, took my money and 2 weeks later I got the title in the mail. No problem. If it's that easy in this state I can't imagine Tenn being more difficult.
    I've read some horroe stories about New York though.

    Bristol... extreme northeast Tennessee.... just off of I-81, 10 miles south of the Virginia state line.

    Thanks Chuck... I was thinking it was not that hard to get one... its not like this is a show car at this point anyway.

    Well, there is a local guy that said he would definitely buy it if he sold his Jeep, but so far, no luck.

    Update - SOLD in January to someone going to restore it.
