It took about 5 days for my symptoms to show up...

No symptoms as of yet for me except for this sudden, almost uncontrollable urge to go buy another GS....oh wait, that's normal:D

Speaking of disease spread by little bug bastards, they're spraying my neighborhood right now after mosquitoes were found in Worcester and Auburn with the West Nile Virus :eek:o_O:mad:

Bite redness or ring is not at all like bulls eye rash. Mine literally looked like I had a red 8in target on my stomach.

Although I have never had a bulls eye ring 8” in diameter, I have experienced many a few inches in diameter. A much smaller target than you describe was present when my wife developed Rocky Mountain non Spotted Fever.

An update to those who may have wondered..I went through 2 months of medicine,I went back to have bloodwork done. The bloodwork showed that the Doxycycline did it's job and Lyme no longer showed up in my body.I had a second round of blood work to be sure on Monday and once again,I am Lyme negative. On a bad note,In the last 2 months,I have found ticks moving on the outside of my clothing.I use repel 1oo when I think I will be in areas ticks are,but the good news is,I have not had any embed themselves in my skin. The ones I have seen are the much larger ones.I have also been feeling better and no more tiredness and pain in my joints. My Dr told me he has treated 20-40 cases in our area in the last year.

I am in the Heart of Lyme tick country. Center of bullseye. I have it All my neighbors have it. All the dogs have had it. The new strayne is out and becoming a problem . Thorn horn Tick I think that is what it’s called. It came from China . Started here in N.J. Spreading west. It’s no joke. And Deadly. The End is near

To put your mind at ease you may want to try https://igenex.com/order-a-test-kit/
Common for the regular test to be a "false Negative" leading one to believe lyme is gone.
IMHO that is why some people get so sick and misdiagnosed.

I got it and never had the bullseye or fever/flu - I have
rheumatoid arthritis and thought I was having another flare, but it lasted much longer than they normally do so I casually asked the Dr if he thought it could be Lymes, sure enough the test came back positive. Never even saw the tick or where he got me
