Single plane? The engine will want to rev even higher with a single plane! You might need to lighten up that rotating assembly to run a S/P intake with some stronger lighter aftermarket rods and lighter pistons so you can spin it to 7,500 rpm.:Brow: Derek

Somebody stoled my wheels!:laugh: :laugh: Ran into more "car" brake issues. Got it on 4 jack stands, all wheels off, ordered 2 new frt brake drums.(They look like they've been chromed on the inside, and are already turned to max, 9.590") No wonder I have zero brakes! :eek2::eek2: Got a couple leaky wheel cylinders, and a leaking rear axle seal. Was going to just bleed the brakes this morning and found other stuff.ou:ou: I'll have the new finned drums in the am, but I think I'm gonna go up north fishing for the holiday instead!!!:laugh::Brow:
Disc brake time .with more go you will want more stop.I think someone carries the brackets for drum brake spindle conversation.
Andy, One last shot with drums. You know when this car was 5 yrs old,(me 21) The pwr drums would put you thru the winshield.:laugh: I used to tow a 17' ski boat to inland lake 3-4 times a week to waterski, then tow a 19' bowrider to lake huron and back on the weekends, (102 miles away) to salmon fish!!! :shock: ...... With this BUICK! Maybe asbestos content in the shoes back then?
If those drums fit 70 I'll buy them to use on Todds car and try to get him to buy them. My little 72 drums are on it now and I havn't found them anywhere. They want to sell my the heavy ones.
