Roger that, Mark - yes, he's one of the best I've met over the years. But I'll keep you posted, perhaps you can be the visiting surgical specialist that day, observing Joe.

Hi, all...MMS1's checking to see if he can score a correct fan, which his alternator lacks. Wheelz, if you don't surface, and MMS1 can score the correct fan, I'll take his, and we've agreed Stellar's the guy for the rebuild, as we're here together in Pittsburgh. If MMS1 can't score the fan and there's no wheelz, I'm buying the one that's up on eBay right now and having it shipped to Stellar.

I'm scoring the ebay one, it's complete and correct, Stellar, I'll call you when I've got it in hand, bring it over to you. Thanks to everyone for the help, here, I feel like I'll be able to drive my car with confidence once I get this straightened out. Maybe someone reading in the future will not buy a Mexico-rebuilt-Chinese alternator and go directly back to forum-rebuilt-stock when they read it.

Darn! I wish I had seen the post earlier. I probably have the fan you may need. What was the number of the ebat alt?

    wheelz 'B' is for Buick.

Hey Jeff...I've been away...did you locate an ALT? I found mine.

Beautiful car Jeff. Looking forward to checking it out more when you put the starter and alternator on.
