Here are some pics of the engine, interior, tail etc... Now you must remember that this car is all stock, only a new radiator, and alternator. I will post the info on this car later.
The infamous tail... Here is a pic of the tail end. Only a little dent in the bumper in which I marked. I didn't make the dent. It was already there when I bought the car. I'm sure the old guy just backed out of too steep a driveway. Whoops lol! Hardly noticeable...When the time comes I will get the dent punched back out and all the chrome redone. Also notice my new chrome tips. I tried to keep the original exhaust tip style with these 2 1/2 flomaster tips. They were as close as I could find. Also, I ended up inverting the air cleaner tip from convex to concave so the air can actually ENTER the heads! What kind of engineer thought that the little 2" wide hole off the SIDE off the air cleaner would produce enough air for the engine! ou: Any tips on upgrades let me know! I'm all ears.
Hey Nick, nice 'tail. Really cool to see you're younger than the car, just like me! Love the Green exterior, my favorite colour. Would you believe I've got a patch in the same spot on the bumper. I'd love to hear your story about the Riv.
Dang Nick!!! I guess I should have looked harder at the pics you sent me. Just a bitchin' ride. WOW!!! Yeah, let's see... hmmmmm.... You could have bought a used Saturn or Subaru, or that Riv. Duh. Let the dolts have the used Hondas and crap. Only a genius would think to buy a car like you did. Nice grab!
Nice rivvy! That color if it is stock is either hunter green, heritage green, or emerald mist. Great paint! Nice to see another riv on the road again. __________ Rob 1972 Riviera
Stock Paint The only thing I did NOT mention is that the paint is NOT stock by any means. It is the correct "emeral mist" paint but the guy who had it before me had it repainted about 7 years ago. I couldn't hardly imagine having original paint on a car that is 33 years old. If it WAS the original paint I would get it repainted anyway with a real nice Dupont paint so that it actually has a lifetime quality.

Very nice ride. I see you are from Nevada and I noticed no belt on the A/C compressor. Ya gotta get that A/C kickin'! Then you'll truly have a "cool" ride! Take care of her and enjoy. Love them boattails!
VERY nice Riviera - Especially the color - Green is IN this year, you know... Do whatever you can to protect that awesome interior from the sun, I just got through replacing/restoring/redoing my ENTIRE interior, not something I want to do again for awhile, and dash pads are near impossible to find in green (thanks again, Carl in Minnesnowta!) Way cool, you coming to the Buick Club of America's Nats in Plano this June?
