Exactly. Although that fork will work, the BB one is different.

Which ring do you need? the one on the boot that is on the 4 speed hump? If you go to www.fusick.com they were repoping it.. It is the same for the 68-72 442 cutlass...Fusick is an Oldsmobile parts supplier..

Also if anyone is interested I did relist this 4 speed setup and included the Console and Tach for a buy it now at 2800.00... If you come pick it up I will let it go for 2700.00.... PM me if anyone is interested.. Randy

Fusick lists a retaining ring for 66-69 442s. I would have doubts about it being the same as the 68-72 Buick rings. The 65-67 Buick retaining rings are different than the 68-72s. They do repro the ealier Buick ring, so I woulsd assume thats the one they list as fitting 66-69 442s

I know a guy that used to repro the 68-752 rings:grin:

The 66-69 non console is the same shifter boot ring.. I have checked this with 2 original 1968 442's a friend has...the same Buick rings and humps will go back as far as 1966 also.. Buick uses them for console and non console cars to keep noise and debree out of the Cock pit..Fusick also has sent me a picture of the ring they are repoping and it is the same.. (Can't find picture.).. But it doesn't show it is availible yet...It Says June of 2007 but not showing availible to order.. Randy (hope this makes sence)
