That is cool the whole package in one, wouldn't need to hunt for all the pieces, someone will be happy. I need to find a A/C package like that , with all the pieces. Bill

What happened to the other thread about this?

Why is this car being seperated more and more every time I see it?:ball:
I don't get it. A damn near #'s 4-speed car that needs little rust repair and is(was) complete.

George it's too bad you didn't let me know you wanted to sell when you still had the car. I told you before that I would see to it that the car would be restored instead of being seperated.

Oh well. Another one bites the dust.:Do No:

Life changes, and there was NO WAY I could keep the car.
Now, to make the comment 'this car gets more and more seperated'.... You have NO IDEA the parts I collected, restored, tracked down for that car. Tracking down the ORIGINAL carb from that car, having the rear bumper replated (by a guy i had to threaten to sue to get it back), running back and forth to Long Island (4 hours each way) to buy parts that the 'chopper' either took or CUT off from the car back, to finding the metal repair pieces this car needed. It was NOT easy, not fun and NOT cheap. It pained and disappointed me to sell that car- as I had very high expectations for it.
Sorry- my family, my carrer and my sanity takes priority over a car...:Smarty:

Yes the 4 speed sutff was sold without the car. When George called me to ask if I wanted to buy the car I told him up front what my plans were for the car. Now because of another car that I am restoring I need to change directions again. I still have Georges car if anybody wants to take it on....George had done alot of the parts hunting but even still the car needed a HUGE amount of bobywork to be put back right. Turst me on this....I am doing it on another car and know how much it is going to cost!! It does have good quarters, deck lid, doors, frame and wheels/tires.

Sooooo if you want the car PM me. cheap!!

George I wasn't referring to when you had the car. I know what you went through to keep it together and get your parts back for it. I sent you a PM.

George and I have been on the same page about this car, although he has some emotional ties, I don't. All my emotional ties to cars left when I sold my high school 1970 SS Black/white 454 LS6 4 speed Chevelle. I am not a chopper per say but I do restore them and sell them, and to me the car was not worth a resto to make money on, sometimes the cars are worth more as parts. Also, this was/is the FIRST car I have ever bought just as a parts car out of the 20 I have restored/saved.
