Over the last year, I've become aquainted with a gentleman via eBay and recently introduced him to the board. He's been into Buicks for a while and just the other day, sent me these pics...

Keep in mind, I had no idea he even owned this thing!! I guess it's like 1 of 5 or 7... :Do No:

You'll notice it's in obvious need of a restoration but it still has the WS code engine, BB trans, original Q-Jet and distributor....

Oh yeah, it's not for sale as of this writing....enjoy!!

I have always heard that here were only three "Stage one" Suncoupes made.:Smarty:

Thats what I've heard also - but would love to hear a breakdown on ALL suncoupe production #'s if anyone has them

Back in the mid-90's there was a darkish Green S1 SC at the Nats a few years that had undergone a pretty nice resto.

.....so that makes 2 of the 3 known. maybe the one I spotted from the train is the third ??:Do No:

I know that there was another rough green one in the Hampton Rhoads area of Va in the mid 90's

What's the story on the air cleaner? Ram air hood, but not the usual ram air air cleaner.

The air cleaner is just missing the plastic snorkels that fit over the metal thermovac dealies.

Thats a really great rare car. Just goes to show that these cars are still out there. Gotta love the 72 Stage 1 and a Sun coupe to boot.

    :TU:

Is Arctic White the original color?

Looks great even in unrestored shape.
