Well, I don't know if it's true or not but if somebody wants a 73 project this might be it. I do know that solid 73 parts cars are cheap to buy. I just sold one. And the U code in the VIN for this one is correct for a GS455. Hey if the guy's got the original nums matching engine and trans and all the extra parts like he says maybe...... Cody, where are you? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SUPE...4583397390QQcategoryZ6144QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I sent him an email to request his local selling price. We will see if he gives me that but he says he won't give out his reserve. I would think it would be the same price? o No:
I'm looking into it. Why does he say it has a M20 trans., if it is a factory 4-spd, shouldn't it have a M21? o No: o No: Anthony :beer
Tom, did u get this one. It has been sold. No, not to me. There will be another one down the road in a couple of years. :Brow: :TU: Anthony
Hmmm.looks like it needs everything. Mike tried to PM and email you about your 73 ou: Well looks like it is sold now. Sorry it did not work out. I was totally unprepared to see it sold so soon. Anyway with a lot of work this car might be worth half the money you put in it. (wait maybe one third) It is interesting! Oh man not another one. (I know what you are thinking Ant) :beer :beer :TU:
Wonder if GS Johnny is the one who ended up with this car??? Hopefully the owner is a member here and will pony up the cowl tag info for me.. Pat
  No Phil, uinfortonaly I did not get this one. :ball: But I HAVE TO finish my car before I get another one. Maybe that's why I want to get my car done so quick.  But, really, after this one that I have now, all that I would really want would be a 73 GS455 4-spd car, non-stage or a stage1, doesn't matter to me. I'll find one. Someday soon, just gotta keep saving my pennies. I gotta meet you soon Phil, and Pat, you too. Too funny.  Like you said Phil, the car would need much work and it would probably be better to buy one that is already complete. Heck, I think the interior of my GS was better than that 1 on ebay. ou: Ok, I'm done. :Comp:  Anthony :3gears: :beer
emailed the guy a couple of times. finally got a message back. what a reply. "doesnt matter it was crushed. sorry bout that I got a temper. guy came to look at it tuesday and all he wanted to do was tell me what a peice of crap is was so i said wait right here. i went to my front end loader picked the car up and flipped on its top ran over it crushed it then i got out of loader and told him now thats a peice of crap. i thought he pooped himself. gsjohnny its not nice to mess with me.would have sold the car for 500.00 bucks but mr. know it all was looking for a show car.this isnt a kids game. if you dont want to play by my rules everybody loses. this car was complete and restorable. it is a hard one but could have been done now its a coffee table. hope you find another one. thanks " now what do you say..............
He's not the only one who crapped his pants...Well I guess there is one less 4 speed now...Only 8 GS Stage 1's and 2 455's and 3 350's have been documented by me so far with a 4 speed :ball: ...Wish I would have gotten some more info to help me out... o No: What a waste to crush a car like that as well. Pat
John, That is why I am trying to document as many as possible.Like you,I to believe there were more than what has been led to believed produced. It will nice for me to show documentation for the cars to prove there were more produced than thought.I know this, they are getting less and les all the time.Especially when they get the treatment this one got...This has become a fun hobby for me and I have gotten some good info from alot of good people. Pat
No NO NO, Please say NO!!!! Jonny, your kidding me, right? If your not, I think I'm gonna fall backwards in my chair. The guy seemed nice when he talked about it to me. I just read the e-mail a few seconds ago that he said it went to a salvage yard. I can not ******* believe this!!!!!!!! :af: :af:    :ball:  :error: Is this guy smoking some really bad stuff or something. I would of been willing to take the car, Jonny, I'm SURE that you would of too. Now that I've read what he said to you Jonny, guy seems like a total jack***. I gotta get one of these cars before someone like this does the same think to another 1. I'm done. :af: :af: :af: :ball: :ball: :ball: :spank: :af: -Anthony :af: :beer
This IDIOT REDNECK is a F*****g psychopath! :blast: :blast: :spank: :spank: Somebody needs to neuter him before he turns the front end loader loose on others (remember Christine?) That's crazy!!!  :af: :af:
I say that is disgusting. Why didn't you give anyone a chance on this one?Far be it from me to say but one A##hole made you crush it? Temper ,temper :af: :af: ou: ARE YOU A BUICK GUY? What were you thinking. Oh by the way any parts left   :beer
He e-mailed me back saying that he "crushed it flat". :ball: :ball: :ball: :blast: What a real jerk, he didn't even think of selling the parts, he probably got nothing for the car now, and could of mad Much money selling the parts. P.S.- Jonny, I'm gonna e-mail you right now. -Anthony
I only live 50 miles from him and called when it was listed in the local sale guide. I asked him to tell me about the car to avoid the hundred question phone call. He tells me "not much to tell" . OK here we go ,Whats under the hood. "nothing right now" pause-----. How much rust does the car have? "more than not". I end with I was looking for something restorable call me when you have more time. All I here is click. The man from Texas hit it on the head redneck jerk. If I remember correct ,which is getting harder to do, he was asking $1000 local. Dave
