last thread was a mess, so I have relisted with the new price. EVERY picture I have is in this thread, the others I can not up-load as they are in other threads elsewhere (a couple of engine shots and a profile shot or two from outside the house 2 years ago)

It started out as a GS 350 w/ TH350 trans, PS, PB w/ discs. I have installed a newly rebuilt 455 w/ TH400 trans and new driveshaft. Other items I have replaced since bringing it home in 06: rechromed front bumper w/ new impact strips, new NOS grill w/ repro front emblem, new repro shroud from The Parts Place, radiator cover, new repro center caps on 15" ralleyes...the wheels are in good condition w/ Dunlop radials, repro trunk mat, Year One floor mats...there are many other small items that I'm sure I forgot but I have a stack of receipts that I can go through for any interested buyers. I have also replaced the following w/ nice NOS or aftermarket stuff: map light mirror, dash bezel, new condition radio bezel w/ beautiful AM radio, added 15" ralleye spare w/ original Goodyear Polyglas F60 tire, and an ultra-nice replated hoodlatch. Blaupunkt CD player is mounted in glovebox and I have new kcikpanel speaker assy's that go with the car as well as a whole slew of other extra parts (2 or 3 sets of wheel housing trim, guages, bezels, all sorts of misc stuff)

When I did the 455 upgrade I purchased the 455 from here built by two very prominent builders back in the Washington state are (I will go back in my threads and get their names) The engine was completely rebuilt w/ Ross pistons, a custom ground cam in the .490 lift range (it was spec'd off of a TA grind), 9.5 to 1 compression, heads had work done but I will again have to refer back to what all was done (mild porting/cleaning and Stage I valves if memory serves correct). The intake is a SP-1 w/ a Demon 850 carb w/ mech secondaries and electric choke. The exhaust is honed manifolds to Flowmasters. The engine also has a fluid damper in place of the stock harmonic balancer. The engine harness is new, as is starter, coil (Mallory), plug wires, alternator, distributor has the Crane Cams electronic conversion w/ rev limiter, new flex fan, new flex plate, 10" stall ultra low stall converter w/ newly rebuilt TH400 w/ Stage II shift kit. I also have a new brake booster and master cylinder that I clear coated to preserve the natural finishes. Newly rebuilt power steering pump w/ new hoses. New braided fuel line from Stage I fuel pump to carb w/ high flow fuel filter.

    addt'l engine description:

Built by a couple of true expert buick engine builders.
.Bored .030 and All oil mods have been done including front cover with t/a booster plate
.Ross forged pistons with file fit rings
    .T/A dual groove cam bearings
    .T/A 5/8 pick up tube
    .Stage one fuel pump
    .Ill include sfi balancer
.Mallory xr-1 ignition with built in rev limiter
    .cam has been degreed
Heads have been rebuilt as well..they are 1973..
    ..Stage one valves
    .Nicely ported and polished.etc...
    .rockers and the such

Car condition details: the interior is not factory original as it has had buckets added at some point. Convertibles for 72 did not offer buckets an option, but this one has them plus console. The upholstery is in good condition w/ one small rip in the rear seat. Car color is Sherwood green w/ black top and interior. There is no rust through areas on the body, but it does have some of the typical convertible hidden rust. It has some minor floor rust, one small spot in the trunk about 1/8" across, some rust in the driver door corner (again nothing rusted through to the exterior) and some wheel house rust. The core support is also in good shape. The bumpers are straight and in very good shape w/ the front being a new rechrome. The top is black and in very good condition with a very smooth operating top motor. The boot is not factory original and uses a snap down boot (this one is actually easier to use than the factory original one on my 70'). The original ram air cleaner was missing when I bought the car, but since I was running the SP-1 I didn't worry about it. The paint is decent, has plenty of shine but not show quality...just nice driver for sure though.

The car is being sold as a very nice driver for $10500. If you want a solid car that is low numbers (601 auto GS 350 cars built for 1972) runs hard, looks great and gets tons of admiring gazes but you can still drive it w/out worry b/c you didn't have to drop 50-70K then this a great car. This car actually gets more compliments than the numbers matching 70 car...go figure. I can email more pics as needed. Feel free to call me at my business number 913-438-2909. Cash or local bank/USPS money order to verify funds. Will NOT ship overseas, so don't ask. Thanks

    Wade,

If you decide you want to add pictures that you have already posted somewhere else, try this trick. Resize them to 99% of their original size (that why there isn't much shrinkage) and then add an "a" or a "1" at the end of the old file name when you save it to your computer. Now you have a newly named picture in a different size and you should be able to post it.

thanks David, if we miss you please leave a message on the business phone. Remember guys, this car is not prefect by any means, but it sure is a fun driver and looks good. Once you get close you can see she will need some work someday

Wade, love the car,if it gets to me I'd like to talk to you. A couple of things, the title says $10.5,the last paragraph of the description says 10.9,and your last thread said $10k? Just want to clear that up.
Also what does honed manifolds mean?

it is 10,500 on here, the ad is cut and pasted from my local CL ad for 10,900...I'll fix it, thanks.

for a brief time back in late March I think it was after the overseas deal started to get shaky, I got desperate and lowered the price dramatically but changed my mind and raised back closer to the original asking price. The car has had a deposit on it from a buyer overseas, but long story short he wouldn't pay unless I signed over the title first and there wasn't any way that was happening plus I had turned away a couple of buyers. That was when I got a bit soured on selling, plus then got very busy with pool season. An strong offer in the 10's will move this car (I'm ok with taking a 8K loss on it...I have to be, so i can buy a new work vehicle as the dudes insurance that hit me is taking their sweet time, which I don't have).

extrude honed stock manifolds...I don't see it being a real huge bonus over standard Buick manifolds, but I could be wrong. A good "x" pipe before the mufflers would be a better addition imo. As is, the 2.5" pipes run straight back into the Flowmasters and then dump out below the bumpers
