That looks like a late 71 350 manual trans set-up.

ThanX Mark! Lemono when you have it in hand and I'll send you all my money. hehe.

AND Brian... If the soleniod in your pix has a single connector on the backside I cant see, I may just buy it in case the unit Mark is getting me, for whatever reaosn, fails. How much ya want for that setup?

    Dennis,
There are at least 3 NOS solenoids on E-Bay currently. These are the '71 style without the attached bracket.Might get the brackets here good used?

OUCCCCH! Brown Recluse poison can really make you sick and the bite destroys any tissue within the bite area.... them buggirs are some nasty-kinda-spiders! Anyway, I understand and maybe, those parts will still be there whenever you finally do get to feeling up to talking that stroll thru the yard! I'll keep you in my prayers Mark.

MEANWHILE...ANYBODY ELSE GOT ONE LAYING ROUND??? PLEEEEASE!

Thanks for your help Brian! George emailed me saying the part is already on its way! I am going to TRY TO use the solenoid (IF it works?!?) from your setup and mate it to the bracket from Johnny. . . perhaps twixt all these pieces I can make one unit that will WORK!? One can only hope huh.

AND if not, I will need to continue to search. "IF" Mark (aka Marxjunk) feels better from his episode with a Brown Recluse Spider  perhaps he tells me "he will try" to go back and visit that yard with the 71 Electra...maybe that part is still there..? should wuold be nice if it is.

Wheels, the car in the pick a part is gone and crushed..they move thru fast..and here, theres no old stuff so people pick them to the bone fast...

....O'sheeooot! Oh well.. I am glad to hear you are feeling good enuf to go back and try Mark! I appreciate your attempt.

    ANYONE ELSE???

BTW. I received the solenoid sent from Brian today. (see post # 20) THANK YOU BRIAN!!

At first attempt, the solenoid does NOT respond to 12v test. No reaction whatsoever.
SO, next question, Has anyone ever rebuild one of this type of solenoid with any success?? :Do No::pray:
