Those should be on all GM cars that had TH400 as optional. I am thinking of full size models such as a LeSabre that could have a 455 or 350. Also, some of the later models, 73-80 full size such as Bonneville, LeSabre/Electra that have TH400 or TH350 should have the same plug. I will check out some cars this Sat at the local yards to see what they have.
George As usual that is one heck of a good observation. Your in the field experience is hard to beat. Let me know what you find.
Well there must be a supplier somewhere! I bought one I found off e-bay, looked new when it showed up. Did another search tonight and there is another one on e-bay, same guy (muscle car heaven). Just do a search for "Firewall plug GM" Don't bid it up crazy though, he obviously has lots...they'll be another one right after current one sells I suspect. BTW it fit fine and looks good once installed.
Not rare anymore----hope you guys don't go crazy on the ebay auction http://thepartsplaceinc.com/newproducts.asp?curpage=2 Of course, for the detail nuts, does the repro have the letters/numbers molded into it + the little raised "dot" between the triangular tab and the square body???
