Would consider trade and cash for a Stage 1, 4-spd ... otherwise, a deposit would now be required as I will not be in same locale as car for a time (work-related). Thanks.

Thank you , I would like to think its dedication but the wife called me crazy after noticing my ears are a little crispy after a fire the other day. Like a fool I forgot my Nomex hood as the fire was within a block of the firehouse, I had to dress out very quickly. It was a little dicey but there was supposed to be a woman and a small child in the home on the third floor (where the fire was). I really did not have time to go back to the truck for the hood because i was on the second floor putting on my mask when I realized it. Anyway she was out shopping and the baby was at her sisters. No one was really hurt and my ears will heal nicely.
Actually I don't want to do anything else but I sure would like to make better money. Ny cars are begging for paint! I might have to go to trade school and learn it myself, if I could wait that long.

My best friend is a fire captain,he's been at it 29 years, could've retired at 25 but he loves it too much.He says 2 more,we'll see.The retirement benifits are great ,so look forward to that.I was a public servant,City Engineer, for 30 years,so was Sandy, our retirement benifits are like that of the safety forces,we live very comfortably ,more so than SS.Hang in there ,ultimately its worth it,from both self gratification and later years. You should be fairly young when you get your 25,so enjoy it .

I can no longer accept $66,500 for this car. Price is in post a few spots above. Thanks. I am doing nothing else to actively sell it as I am working away from the car's location.

Yes, it is people like that who truly take advantage of the eBay system, by actually committing criminal fraud, who give eBay the bad rap that it so often undeservedly gets.

    Don't you agree Ron?

Ebay is often full of suspicious activity. Remember last month when a GSX sold for big $$$ on ebay and the seller was Volo cars? It still is on the Volo website for sale for $198998... It "supposedly sold" on ebay a month or two ago for less than that and the seller was Volo cars. Hmmmmmmm.

There is a 250k GSX on ebay now. There is also an extra nice GSX up for auction at Barrett-Jackson next week. It make you wonder is these "sales and offerings for sale" at huge prices can serve to bump up the prices that Barrett-Jackson GSX could go for.

I too an suspicious but the one on Ebay is a regular at BG and I have to say one of the finest examples I have seen, That is in my uneducated on GSX opinion. I like the trailer also but that kind of paint everyone will know whats in there and we have all seen what happened to a certain BB convert that was stored in the trailer. Gone is 60 seconds.
That said I sure would love to own either one.

Not sure if Ted was being sarcastic on post from last page but no matter, I have just been trying to sell a real car, that is in real good shape, for a real fair price. Nothing more or less.

In regards to comments more directly above, I contacted the other guy way back and he begged off second chance for (what he said was) some other car. But I do appreciate the suggestions and input though guys.

Could not something like this be brought into question because one could create a phony ID & bid ... to get rid of the responsibility for something they changed their mind about? Or cannot they just retract their offer? I don't know? ... but it sure did not fly in many regards.

Speaking of begging off ... a couple people said they were more interested in a couple different cars that had serious questions about their authenticity (from the most reliable of sources). So nothing really surprises me at this point ... but they were dangerously entertaining paying more for a car that may (or where the dangerous part comes in: "may not") even have original powertrain components. One was regarding the motor.

No, I'm sorry if it came off that way- I was trying to figure out which previous post you were referring to fro price and that one was above...Just looking for clarity and a bump for the post.:Smarty: And I think 70, 000 is a good price, no problem there!! I erased the wishful thinking part of my post and all that was left was Nice, which was meant as a compliment!

Nothing necessary, but thanks the same Ted.

My problem ... as I admit I got a little peeved from that eBay bs, etc. It may get to many people, but that is my deal to bear ... and I should know what to expect.

    Thanks again though.
