I hope you get more than $80K for it. It is a nice car and seems like a good deal to me for $80K. I will enjoy to watch it on eBay and see how much more than the $74K cash in hand you could have had. Post the item number when you get it up. Good Luck!
Man Ron, I'm surprised this hasn't gone yet! I remember when Mark had it, and I know what level you maintain all your cars at. Wish I could swing it. I would still love to get a hold of a yellow one. Don't think Gina would let me get another 4 speed though. Before long she's going to expect a car she can drive. Especially since we sold the (her) 65 Riv. Good luck!! Jeff
I know nothing about your tale of woe from your ex-girl. But I think it is a shame that you have to sell a gem like this to fill the hole. I do feel bad for you, but not terrible because I looked at your signature and you have a very nice stable. :eek2: Maybe she was indeed a nice girl when you met her. There are a lot of tough influences in this world that can draw someone to the darkside. Not sure how S.Florida factors in but it is a nice place that attracts some undesirables that help fuel the "all about me, more, better, faster" lifestyle. Stick it out in Ohio where 'family' means something, where when you tell someone you love them it is because you do not because you want something. My bet is that someday you will get a call asking for a bus ticket home; think about losing this X and make sure you keep that door closed and locked!
Ron, that is a very good write-up in your auction and the car looks great. I was wondering if you should include a pic of the documentation and trim tag.
It will be interesting to see if the buyer was real or not. The buyer had 0 and I think that means they have not completed a transaction on eBay. Let us know how it turned out. Mark
how amazing. Looks like he joined ebay on October 25, the same day the auction ended. The only bids he has ever placed on eBay happen to be on this no reserve car, beating out the only "real" bidder, who was in at $69k and some change. If it wouldn't have been for this guy "ruining" the auction, the real bidder would have gotten the car for its starting bid of $68k. Can't believe what some people will do. Ron, you could always offer it to the second bidder for $68k if this guy doesn't materialize, since that would have been the winning bid. That would be two "no reserve" GSX's in the last month or so that ended up not being sold. What is this world coming to? What kind of buyer would do a thing like this?
If the guy does not come through you can file a nonpaying bidder alert and get your fees refunded anyway..........Bruce

Sounds like a steal if the market stays up. Either way I wish I was able to do it. This and the silver Stage on ebay make me wish I had done something better paying than a firefigter
You may wish you did something other than being a firefighter, but we are all glad that you and others have decided to serve. Thanks
When other people are running out of a burning building, you are running in.Your either crazy or one dedicated SOB,I'm sure it is the latter, thank God there are men like you,my personal THANK YOU. gary
