I remember that car. I believe Scott bought it off Ebay about 2-3 years ago? Chris would remember it too I bet

    Neat car

It came from Columbus Ohio, about a year ago...Right out of our back yard. Surprises me that he isn't finishing that car. Great color, and good equipment. I would love to redo that one.

Since it is from Ohio and Scott is not using it to restore that should tell you something about the car. Wonder what happened to the hood, grill, doors? Bet those were the good parts on the car. Basically, you are buying the VIN, drivertrain and a few other items. Rest of car is junk.

Yes I remember it, and even more than most. The reason being is that when I saw that Scott bought that car, in November/December of 2003, I emailed him and asked him if he wanted to sell something to make room for it, and he said that as a matter of fact he did, and that is how I bought my Stage 1 car from him! :TU:

Inside that 2 minute span there were 13 bids and the price jumped 10K to $18,000.00.

Doesn't having no doors in the car cause the body to lose its rigidity? Or is that only for unibody cars? :Do No:

Moreso for convertibles, but the frame is supposed to support the car. With frame-off restos, most folks will weld in braces to keep body flex to a minimum.

George, what was so bad on that car? Was the frame rotted or what?

My car looked worse than that when I started. That car doesn't really look "that" bad. :Do No:
