I'd read at some point & by some measure that PA had the most. Not sure on the driving but certainly possible. Lots of entrance ramps w/no merge so whenever someone stops at the end of a ramp I assume they're from PA.

It has been apart so long, that I don’t remember the stance when it was together. Haha

I've got a spare set of used/uncut ones here you can have if you want although buying a new pair may be more prudent.

Thanks Dano, but plan B is in the works already. 38AD1352-BCE4-4311-8B13-F764BE5DF2C6.jpeg

So, after playing with different combinations of springs for the last 2 days, I came up with this

923AB785-B097-4197-8081-732E3510BB7F.jpeg 8BEBC60E-DBD5-49F3-B05A-C3A12C982F16.jpeg These are 1” eibach lowering springs for a g body. Tucked the rear tires up just right, imo. The fronts are stock skylark springs with one full coil cut off. B4F29E49-A260-49EF-A238-2BD803CD8C99.jpeg
Now with that all done. I’ll reinstall the front sway bar, then sit it down on all 4s and tighten the suspension up.

I have the Eibach 1" lowering springs (for A bodies) all around in my GS400 and I've been pretty happy with them. It sits pretty nice and the ride is really good, too. I don't have headers on it, though.

Rich, that is the perfect stance on your car. Buying new maybe an option once I get it on the road and the bugs worked out. I would like it to handle decent (as well as an A body can without replacing the entire suspension) when I start using it.

It runs, it moves. The brakes barely work and there’s no interior. Half the glass is still not in. Running video coming soon. 1F7799CF-CC00-4FE4-B015-D6BCB99A5A11.jpeg 4FD99F95-7F56-4BFF-B8E4-77708544824C.jpeg

A friend of mine had a red '70 Stage1 4-speed that was very similar to you description. Stock except it the over-the-frame Hooker headers. Can't remember if it was a white interior though.

Gary, the guy’s name is Lou. He was from the wellsville, Ohio area. He said every time he made a pass in the car, more parts would fall off. I still have the hood from it, and I can tell by its condition that he was telling the truth.

While I’m waiting to have one of my kids show me how to do a YouTube channel, I thought I’d start cleaning interior parts. I’m really more concerned with my potential passengers and/or myself not needing a tetanus shot after going for a ride. It’s not gonna be nice when done, but at least it won’t smell like rodent pi$$. 3F659839-DA4A-4E23-B56F-96E13509F2ED.jpeg In the blue circle is what I’m starting with. The red circle is after wiping the vinyl down with gojo hand wipes. I scrubbed the area in black with 1/2 cup of fabulosoo in a gallon of hot water.
2C496D8C-5BE3-4CDD-94DA-48BD3B0D804E.jpeg This is the end result. Calling it nice is a stretch, but it came out better than expected, and it smells good. In a way, this is also an experiment to see if this method will hurt the vinyl in my white car, because it definitely needs a freshening.

If anybody has an original Pearl white rear seat back for a hardtop, I would be interested. Even if it’s just the cover. Mine disintegrated when I removed it way back, and my current one is from the bittersweet 71 skylark.

I'll look but I think the bottom I have is good & the back isn't.

A bad back is still better than what I have. It’ll match the bad car. LMK

This is after 6 hours of scrubbing, cleaning, and polishing. The end result really exceeded my expectations. I should have gotten better before pics. A9051DA2-F5D6-4BDC-928C-606444E55E0E.jpeg

Back at it. Car is still for sale, but I feel like I need to make her whole.

Spent the last couple of garage sessions cleaning interior parts. Here are some before and after pics. Tested the motor before install, and it works pretty decent going both directions. Greased up the rollers and tracks, and in she went. I even installed a nice outer window felt I had found for the car years ago. 9960B3F5-1FC0-4B57-99A3-95819D907E53.jpeg E9805A77-809B-451E-81A8-66D28ADF221D.jpeg Window is a little slow going up. It may have to be helped along once everything is done.

I found that if you replace the very bottom roller on the quarter window regulator, the quarter windows just glide up without assistance

Dorman makes the roller asst. You might have to buy 2 packages though

I assume those would be the same for manual windows as power or not?
