So we've have been thoroughly enjoying the Skylark. . Have done some minor maintenance and last weekend drove it to the Pure Stock Musclecar Drag Races. Great time. Great trip. Just under 1000 miles there and back.
    Picked up our wheels there.

I will have to look at the sticky about posting photos. Seems a bit different then 2doorpost.

So we bought centre caps from CARS. The ones with the apparent locking bar. The caps assemble no problem.
What is unclear is how that lock bar installs. Maybe I am missing the obvious.

I called CARS and am waiting for a call back.

Has anyone installed these on their wheels.
I went on the website and found an exploded view which showed what I had already done. But no lock bar

    Any photos would be great.

    Thanks.

I had Mitch Romanowski's locking caps. The lock bar is installed on the back side of the wheel. Was there a bar included with your CARS purchase?

Wheels have to be off the car. Put the center cap on the wheel from the front side, and then the bar attaches from the back side, and keeps someone from pulling it off from the front.

    Very nice looking car!

Yes, that's a better explanation. It's been a looong time since I installed them. So CARS diagram does not show this, apparently?

Yes the bar is included. Today CARS sent us a installation sheet. It explains a small modification that you need to do
Not sure why the sheet was not sent originally.

I will try to install them next week.

Lookin' good, Al. The new wheels certainly change the personality of the car.

So this is how it looked when we bought it. After some maintenance and having the radiator re cored I did the first bit of cleaning.
