This is a Dayco 70548 I grabbed this week to have an extra handy. My parts guy looked up the upper hose for a 1970 GS 455 and this is what came up:
that dayco hose looks like it would clear the gs air cleaner better than the hose you have on there,did you mock it up with the air cleaner to see?
The one on the car fits fine and mocking it up with the air cleaner wouldn't have made any sense unless I changed out the hoses.
Also of note: the '71 GS 350 upper hose is the same as the '70 & '71 455 hose. I really wish Dave would find a source to reproduce the NOS upper hose he's got. I feel like they'd sell very well.
