I love a man who has a subliminal desire to punish himself financially. BJ lives off of this kind of "knowledgable" seller. It is the kind of thinking that changes a billionaire into a millionaire.

Really? Where? I thought the guy in Pa. wanted at least $80K and was originally at $125K or something like that...can that car really be bought for $50K or less???

How much is the Silver Mist car now? Do you have a number in mind Chris? I thought the one on eBay looked pretty good at under $50K...it's loaded and all-numbers, if what he says is true. Isn't your car close to that pricewise? I am curious because we are sinking a lot into the frame-off on the '69 Stage 1 4-speed convertible right now, so if I sound as if I am watching these cars...it's because I am! :)

Gotcha, sounds like a good price for a super nice car...I am taking a bit of a liking to the brown one that's being discussed here. Something about the color combo, I just really like it, and it is loaded too which makes it all the more appealing. Oh well, still doesn't compare to my red hardtop 4-speed though...I keep dreaming of it finished, might be a while though. Gotta finish the drop-top first!

He bought a 40 year old Buick from a Lamborghini dealer, and then paid these people 3k to wet sand it, what do you expect ?
