66 GS convertible ..... right in my back yard!

I stumbled across this 66 GS ragtop on eBay this morning. I've already contacted him and found he's only a few blocks from my house!

I saw it out this summer once, and tried to catch up to it in my 67, but lost him in traffic.
I'd love to add it to my collection, but as you can see from my sig... another car isn't in our cards right now. ou: :ball:

But what I can do is check it out for anyone that's SERIOUSLY interested in it. I don't want to waste his time or mine with unneccesary "tire kicking", but if you're really interested I can check it out, take more pictures .. <s>burn some rubber</s> take it for a spin... etc.. :Brow: :laugh:

its the same car that was on ebay in Ricks area and he claims he bought the car a long time ago,i figured it out when he sent me pics of it and it was the same car,he told me he had it in his Barn in another town and would`nt be able to take some pics of her but had some old pics of her and sent me those,meanwhile he probably didnt get the car yet from Ohio thats why,so just be careful.

From what I can gather, George called about the Colorado car and found it to be the same car that sold on E-Bay for just under $6k. The new seller is asking $9,900. When I asked about the different colors, the car in the CTOL ad is a stock photo and not one of the actual car.

There were two overlapping conversations. George's post pertains to the main topic - the car in Ohio. The E-Bay IP addresses you posted have nothing to do with the car that is now for sale in Colorado.

The guy in Denver just bought the car from my town (the red one I took pictures of for George) on eBay for like $5,850
He already has it posted on CCTOL for $10K, and doesn't even have a picture of it yet?
AND.. is telling you he's owned it for years.... and it's a "numbers matching" car?????
