I have removed the cotter pin from the pedal (as shown in your photo) but can't slide the rod sideways enough to get off the pedal. Will it come loose from the booster end? I haven't pulled hard on the booster for fear of damaging something. As you have seen, getting to the top of the pedal is very hard and if I do get it off I'm scared I'll never get it back on. Gonna keep trying. Can't get frustrated. That is the beauty of not having to drive the car.....when I get p#$%ed I can quit for a while. Haven't even addressed the non-working AC or the slight tap under the hood yet. Even with the frustrations it is a great car. Paint and interior are great. Two fours and a wad of torque to work with. This thing runs like a scalded dog!

    Thanks for all the help.

Finally got the parts together and the new booster and master cylinder ready to reinstall. Getting the hard tubing to fit is going to be a job. I know it wouldn't appear correct, but would it make sense (or be safe) to use stainless hose to plumb from the master cylinder to the distribution block?

    Disc conversion

Scarebird.com is currently developing a bracket that will use the original spindles and mount G.M calipers/ rotors. Don't know if its completed yet.
