    Ponch,

It's PRESKIT. Those guys In Tucson talk funny.:bla:
There is a scratch on the driver side rear quarter and another(that was repainted) on the passenger lower front fender. Neither show up in pictures I have taken.
The GS will get 17 mpg on the highway:TU:
There is NO overspray on the trunk seal. It was put on after it was painted.

    Still for sale...

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Hey Man, He's from Michigan, He HAS to talk funny. After 40 Years in Tucson I cant even understand him. I'm lucky to get 10-12 on the highway in my 350 Skylark. WTF?
As far as the trunk seal, It looked like it had paint on it. Probably a reflection. That Car reflects Everything. Man does it shine. Love to color too. Beautiful.

...ok... lets see ..got my trusty lil calculator out here.

One way flight from TIA to PresKIT AZ... fly into Phoenix, jump commuter flight to Ernest Love Field/Prescott .. $486 + 109 and other silly airline fees like a bag of stale outdated peanuts, warm soda and using the potty, additional $66. :eek2:

CASH to purchase gorgeous 65 gran Sport: $15,000.

ok umm, l o n g drive back to Tampa ~ 2351 miles. ... averaging 55 mph = 42.7 hours at continuous rpms of??? (its difficult to AVERAGE 55, but its a place to start...) arriving in tampa approximately 42 hours later..IF I drive straight thru... :boring:

fuel cost est 157 gallons/15mpg avg at $3.85 gallon/not good stuff but that ethanol junk our govt shoves down out tank necks... $604.45.

so. lets see here...click click, punch, click, ah, sub total...

    um.

well?? this whole deal is only going to cost me around $16,250.04

I have $3904.37 put away under my mattress.... just short by only $12,345.67.
Guess I better start selling, saving, investing or winning the lotto....

o'mannn, . . . I REALLY WISH there was another way Brucer....

    Ponch,

Still for sale. Miles are unknown. There are about 8500 miles showing. I think the odometer was rolled back when it was restored. "Bad things" were listed in original post.

    Thanks,
    Bruce

Bad Things; Barn Scars and Two Scratches? Those don't sound like Bad Things to Me Bruce. Easily Overlooked. No Problem. So My bid doesn't cut it I guess. Thanks.

No, the trunk pan has a patch welded in as shown in the photo. The patch is not ribbed like the original floor pan.

With a tear in my eye and a heavy heart, I watched my GS(that I owned for nearly 8 yrs.) drive away with a new owner.:ball: On the other hand, the new owner was beaming with joy and looking forward to his long drive home.:TU:

Thanks Guys. And a Big Thanks to Bruce who was a Big help in informing me about the Car. And getting it ready for me. :TU: And Yes, I love it. It was an adventure driving it home. I kept telling myself, Hey Dummy, Yer 64 Years Old, Not 24. What the hell are you doing? Man was I tired when I got here, 2166 Miles. No Problems as Bruce told me I wouldn't have. I finally have the energy to post a message. But really I've been cleaning up the car. As true to Michigan I ran into a Big snowstorm as soon as I crossed the State Line. Everyone on the e way was in a panic. Come on people, you've driven in Snow before. It's water on the road not ice. Idiots. But I stopped and took a few Pictures. Everywhere I stopped people came over and checked out the car. Lots of Great comments. I'd stop to get gas (A LOT) and people would come over to talk. Hey, it was nice talking to you but I gotta haul ass!! I couldn't get away from One guy. Hung on for 15 Minutes. I'm just thinking, Hey I don't want to hear about every single car you've ever owned. This isn't a car show. Got lost in St. Louis. They should mark their E Ways better. I had a nice map, just couldn't find the signs. I had to stop and ask Three times. Hey, I just want to cross the river. I could see the Bridge but couldn't figure out how to get there. But all in all it was a nice trip. Great to meet Bruce. Very Nice Guy who helped out a lot. Also to Jeff T. Thanks for the Second Opinion. :TU: Oh, did I mention that I Love the Car?
