I bit the bullet and went to my local radiator man and told him to go ahead and build me a four row radiator with the larger tanks and a curved lower outlet as shown in my GS service guide. I am also replaceing the water pump since I didn't do it when I had the motor down for overhaul. The pump will be here friday. The radiator should be done next week. I will let you all know what happens. I would like to thank all of you and I wish for you a verry joyous holiday season. Take care.

I spent two days trying to figure out why the water pump I ordered did not fit, It was a used one. Evertyime I would get it torqued down it would bind up. I finally took it back and asked them to find a new one for me which they did in 3
days time. I had it on installed and torqued in a half hour. I am now still waiting for the new custom built radiator. The parts should be here on monday. I am having withdrawls and sometime just go out to the garage to look at my GS with no radiator. Take care all.

I called today at around 4:30 PM, he said it is going to be ready in the morning. He said it was drying and he would paint it. The price is $300. plus tax. I will let you know if it is correct.

I brought it home and checked out the fit. I had to take it back to have the lower outlet shortened so it would not rub on the steering gearbox. I got it back and installed it fine. I took it for a test drive to check out the installation for leaks and the new pump and radiator and hoses are good. I drove it to work tonight and cheched for leaks and levels, all is AOK. Thanks to all for your help.
