    My 64 Skylark convertible has

06A build date June 1st week
Trim 164 should be White Bucket seat
Paint HH 1 Light Blue with White convertible top

    W- Tinted Windshield

2P 3 speed column because: I believe this because my car was a 3 speed on the column car that somebody made into a floor shift car. It had a cheesy boxy generic floor shifter but the bucket seat brackets were in the old cut up floor. The steering column had the levers under the hood for a 3 speed column shift and different auto brake pedal installed.

4U- Belt molding/Window: I did not have a passenger mirror but does have the stainless on top of the doors and rear 1/4 window.

    5Z ?

My car has the wheel moldings and the push button AM radio.

Well, i dont know, there is always conflicting info, i've got some info that says there is radio code info on the fisher tag,in 64, cuz theres an antenna hole on the car, so its an assembly thing, no radio, no hole....and speakers must be installed either in the dash, or rear package tray, so line workers need the info for the wire harness, and attatchment hardware.
The 65 GS i looked at in Knoxville KY today had and the same code, and it had a mirror i've never seen it anyother time except on a 64 gto with a pass mirror....same code, and i had a PHS document that says it was a factory pass mirror car.
    but hey, just an opinion...
NEEDS more investigation.....i'v been wrong more times than right....lol:Do No:

Is there a place or can a sticky be made to compile the different codes and what they are? It would be nice to have a go to place for each year so other members can tell what they have. Any member that has a car with known codes could add to the list. I know there is still some confusion but it sure is interesting info. Thanks to all of you.

    Hi Ed,
Your 5Z code is a seat belt code.

Thanks Tom! Does that mean it came with them as they were an option or that they were deluxe seat belts.

Forgot my car has seat belts as well. How did they decide what options were put on the tag versus which ones were not? Seems odd.

It depended on whether the option required a modification at the Fisher body plant.
