Sale pending, purchaser does not want stealth sniper EFI or Holley sniper hyperspark ignition so if anybody is interested, I will be selling those items.

Tom, I am curious about the SPX intake on the track eliminator heads…did the ports line up or did you need to do serious work? My early TE heads have a raised intake port and I got the SP2 raised port intake for it.

You must first run the spacer plates, and then there is some filling the port on the intake. I have no idea why TA would not add the material on the SPX so you can use it on a track eliminator head. It’s the better intake it makes no sense. The SP2 is heavy and also prone to heat sink due to the design.

I believe the SPX is an old Kenne Bell cool runner intake, so Mike at TA probably acquired the old mold. My company has molds made for different things and it’s very costly.

Yeah, but he went through the trouble to have a mold made to do the SP2. He would’ve just had to make a slight modification I would think. Anyhow, we know how that goes.

Guys, the purchaser of the deal offered now says he wants to buy everything. I will know for sure by next weekend. I will follow board rules as to who’s in line 1st if I separate parts. I apologize for the confusion. thanks, Tom.

Tom is correct on the intakes. I don’t know why you wouldn’t make that SPX to fit the raised port heads.

When I asked Mike this he said simply because there are way more SE heads in service than the TE's

They are actually inline with equal quality heads,....US cast and machined heads are the same $$ for any make,...guys wanting $1500 heads are living in the late 90s still

I will say the 350 heads haven't sold that well imo because they don't flow that well in as cast form

$3200 for assembled US cast heads isn't that far from normal,.. albeit flow much better,..but given how it's a very small market that took a huge investment that will probably never be regained,....one should expect to pay more

The performance market has been shifting,...it's becoming a hobby for only the guys making 125k a year or have no bills. Getting stock heads redone is approaching 2k now,....
