I'll jump in line - Leeme think about for a day. It's the setup I wanted for one of my engines but I'm so far off from needing it & cash is kinda tight.
Can't disagree there Marty but hopefully so will my cash flow. Also trying to spend what I do have on NOS/used stuff for the resto since that has much less availability. Could take that $600, if I had to spare, & invest it & come out ahead (or behind) &/ or engine plans could change too. Good deal for sure though & I'm itching to build an engine. I already have the pistons for that engine too & it was supposedly rebuilt in the 80's & never run but I have no idea what I'm going to find when I open it up. Maybe they opened up the KB catalog and it's chock full of good stuff, lol.
If Dano passes, and I'm going to give him all the time he needs, I think I need everything listed. Do the valve guides have to be cut down to use these springs?
I think the board rules are 24 hrs (maybe 48 - This isn't FB) but I'd decided that as much as I'd like to get the stuff that I was going to pass anyway since Greg has a more immediate need and I want to see the 350 go back into his car and this would add to his commitment. I have 2 cars that came to me totally apart (ironocally both w/supposedly rebuilt engines) - I surely don't need to take anything else apart. Maybe when I do I'll get lucky on at least one of 'em but I'm not holding my breath.
well ok and not trying to start a poop storm but i can see a line to ask additional questions but just to see if you want to spend your money? you should already know this when you get inline.
If I had unlimited $ to spend, it'd have been a done deal but since I don't (heck, we didn't even qualify for any porkulous gov't $) so I got in line in order to have time to decide. Nothing wrong w/that IMHO.
Well, it looks like I'm building a 350 since I've already bought your intake. Do you have any other 350 stuff to sell you might want to include in the same box? PM me if you do. Maybe cam bearings, gaskets, seals, valves, etc? Payment pending a response.
from your end maybe, but from the sellers end you waste time and lose them potential buyers. end of the day i could have returned this stuff to TA for full credit, but since it wasnt their fault i decided to eat a loss and give someone here a great deal.
that is everything i'm changing. i bought that stuff then decided to wait for aluminum heads and then it spiraled out of control. lol SRE oil pan , molnar rods, diamond pistons, TA roller cam.
