350 and hooker headers leaking

    thank you jim...picked up set of ARP .750 ones. Hope these and new remiflex do the trick

    I use stainless steel ones they come off easily after years of abuse and yeah they will come a little loose on ya but you have to tighten them up for the next 3 heat cycles and then they quit. I spray the gaskets on both sides with the high temp copper spray and then they stay in place as you try to get them on. Get the bolts in the two ends first then work on the middle ones.

    Just remember not to over tighten them and you will not have to re tighten them again later... you can check to ensure they are are not loose but don’t tighten then anymore after instal... the remflex gaskets is not require a re torque. I think the spec is about 30 foot pounds but it’s listed on the gaskets so double check.

    Nothing wrong with the arp fasteners, they are less likely to break if you ever need to remove them.
