    I found another project, have to free up cash and it's really time for this to go. I need an offer! I just woke it up from it's winter nap, runs really good, I don't anticipate any issues. Fly in, I'll pick you up and you can drive it home:TU:

    Are you still interested in a 69 GS 400 as a partial trade? PM me with some guidelines of what you are looking for if so.

    Rich, this is TORTURE! Do you have any idea how much I want this car? :blast:

    I already have so much Buick debt from the 69 though. And I just can't bring myself to trade. I met my wifey in the GS. :cool:

    If this thing sells I'm gonna be a jealous mutha.

    Yea, I know all about torture! I'm taking a huge loss on this car, well maybe not since it's not selling:Do No: This is one great car, clean title, never wrecked (I have the car fax), no rust (Spent it's whole life in TN) and I spent a year going through everything mechinical on this car. I'd drive it anywhere, 20+ MPG, yet seat of the pants performance. Yep, paint is not perfect, car is not perfect, but it's not priced at 20K either. Paint and new GM weather stripping and it's done. If I paint it, it's not going anywhere :bglasses: Still as it sits it gets looks everywhere it goes. Maybe I'm too honest in telling people up front exactly what this car needs :Do No:

    Rich;
    Thank you for your honesty.
    I too would really enjoy owning this Turbo T.
    There are a couple of mustangs that need a smack down up here.

    Have you chassis dyno'd or ran the car to determine how much power the car actually has?

    Thanks,

    Nope, but if it sticks around it will see the track this year.

    Basic stock motor, Slightly ported heads (Removed all the burs and matched the gaskets openings), new valve springs/seals, power plate, 42 lb injectors, Meth injection SMC Progressive, 4" Big mouth, 3.5 MAF with translator, upgraded FP with adjustable regulator and hot wire kit. Very conservative tune. Chip is a turbo tweek 5.6 adjustable. Running 23 PSI with Zero Knock. It does need track time to really get it tuned in. By the time you are looking for Knock, your going way too fast. (Another words, it's pretty easy to peg the speedo, of course it only goes to 88) These parts work very well together.:laugh:

    What have you done for traction Rich? I am guessing it runs in the 12's

    I'm guessing high 12's?? Just a guess:Do No:

    As far as traction goes, I just don't gun it from the start. I'm not out to beat it (I'm too old), but I love on ramps:bglasses:

    In honesty, there's only been a couple of fast lights and so far there's nothing in this town that even comes close or wants to play. I usally take off, not to break the tires loose, but once I hit 2nd, it's all over.

    It's got old school air shocks and a modifyied pinion snubber (Yep OLD school) but it works.:bglasses:

    I don't think honesty is something you have to apoligise for. It is the only way to go. Peace, Mike D.
