Put me on the sideline - I'm normally not impulsive - but that 470 got me into dream land - fast. My wife reminded I get to pay college tuition for my son instead starting in 2 months. uuugghhh Hope "Green Bean" sells quickly for you...
I saw this ad earlier today, but I wasn't logged in, and I said to myself, and I quote, "Wow!" Now, 12 hours later, I still say the same thing. What a killer deal for a killer car. It shouldn't last long at this price. Good luck with the sale.
You're up Philip, time yo make your signature a little bigger! $$$ talk is 8. The car is just a plain jane 350-2, Column shifted TH350, 2.73 peg leg with 28,000 original miles, original paint, never has had a rust repair or collision, there's 1 dent on the drivers side qtr, rear bumper is dented, doors close perfectly, nothing's out of alignment. There's some surface rust in some scratches that a scuff pad would most likely clean up. The under carriage has no rust, never has had a repair, same with the trunk, it still has the factory carpet/matt on the trunk floor. Interior is excellent and original, theres a 1 inch slice on the side of the front seat just above the position selector. Glass is excellent, no chips, scratches etc. 14x6 front wheels, 15x10 rear. New shocks. Aluminum Radiator. Autometer. The motor has only seen Brad Penn oil, runs well on pump gas (89-92) Really likes 107+ Joe York of Rhoades Performance in Somerset PA 814-443-2418, cell; 814-201-0924 did all the machine, balance, modifications and assembly work conversing with Jim Weise throughout the build. I have the header, starter off. When the motor was built we neglected to drill a hole for the dipstick. I was going to pull it, drill the hole and swap out the oil pan for one that JW had. Then the house came along and the car has just been sitting in the garage. You cant build this motor for what I'm asking for the entire package. And believe me, I 've raced every Mustang I could find on the street (untill word got out) Never lost to any of them. The last one I ran was my buddy in his new Mustang 500R (something R) 50+ grand. I took him by a Buick and a half, 3 times. This thing is a very sweet sleeper that works very well.
Man, I"d love to own that car. My dad had a 73 Century when I was little. I vaguely rememberstanding on my dad's lap steering through the alley behind the house when we lived in Chicago. I love the bodystyle, the stance is awesome, and I wish I had the $$$. -Josh
I thought about selling this in Feb. Corvettzo wanted it, I decided not to sell, agreeing with him when I do he's first. I honestly forgot about this conversation untill he posted here. So staying within our guidelines Corvettzo is 1st in line.
Just got back on the computer at work (NYC) no power at home for 40 hrs so far. My wife wants a generator for the house, I have to pass on this if I still want my fam. of 30 yrs. SORRY, next time maybe?

I'm right there with ya Doug, selling my 69 turn key 11 second car,all new and built well from front to back, you can gut my car, scrap the shell, and be ahead of the game as you can't build one like mine(drivetrain)for what I'm asking. Nevermind the headache of running around, parts ordering, building, then get it running, tune it,work out all the bugs, etc, that come with a new build and on and on and on !!!!!!! I just junked a 2002 nissan frontier pickup with a blown engine, and got $500 for it,so I know my shell has to be worth that,LOL !!!!
