Ask John (staged70) he is a plethera of Sun Coupe information. But here are a few pics of what it *kinda* should look like, I'm not sure myself.

I'll post some pictures of it lifted off... when I find them :puzzled:
(I know that handle is wrong but unless someone has a better option for me i'm tired of hearing it lol)

That last pic has the wrong handle.

Bryan, here are some pictures of my top in action. No guarantees as to the accuracy of my set-up, since the car was restored before I got it, but it does seem to function OK and seal tightly. (And yes, I know my sunroof handle is VERY wrong - it appears to be a Mopar window crank?! - but it works great until I find the right one).

Starting from an open position and moving to closed. I'll post several times to keep from having too many pics in one post.

The pic where you see the hook coming out and the front header panel . You need to have a piece of vinyl cut to cover that bare metal as per the GM sun roof repair technical bulletin

WOW thanks man now i know i have my work cut out... mine has just the metal frame with some cheap vinal streched out over it. did i see that right? is there a inside cover also? what is it made out of ? i know i have alot of questions but i really LOVE these cars now and i want to make sure its right. wondering if maybe i should print this off to take to the place i decide on for rebuilding the top lols

Outside cover is made from the same vinyl as the roof. I have material for that. The inside is made from headliner material and I have that by the yard. The whole headliner has to be custom made as no parts are available. I might be able to come up with an old one that with a good top guy can be used for a template. My car is going to be done soon so when I get it into the top shop I'll post what I can come up with.
