Please can you send some more pics, I got fingers crossed, also the dist....shouldn't it be a 2016? I thought all 1970-72 StG. 1 used the same distributer? Others will know more than me on that. Also how bad is the cowl rust and the dash-windshield area ? Have you ever looked for a build sheet? Also on the other motor that you said had the same oil pan hole what was the cause, just a rod needing replaced or was there cylinder/ main cap damages too? Thanks for taking time to answer my Q's.

Yes the Dist# is 1112016, I miss typed it, I corrected it. Rust in Cowl area in dash windshield area looks like mostly surface but will look at it again and post back. Have not looked for build sheet, only looked under both front buckets. Not looked under or behind back seat or under gas tank. The other big car motor I have that goes with this is a complete good motor no hole in pan was a running motor when I got it. Thanks Bill.

Also was going to PM you but your PM box appears to be full. PM me your email and I can send pictures. Thanks Bill.

PM sent.....also I was asking about the other similiarly damaged motor you sold and was repaired to save the #'s match, to me that's where the true value is, in saving that motor as well as the car.

Pictures of windshield area. Looks like the drivers side is nice, the pass side has some surface rust and may have some in the windshield glue area. The pass side pillar post cover has surface rust on it, but the pillar post is nice. When I washed the car no water in the trunk, none on the drives side, shall wet spot buy the heater, but I power washed under the hood and fire wall and was thinking the heater box seat was bad, but you never know. See attached photos. Thanks Bill.

Bill, I have thought about it and already have a car that I want to restore (1972 stage 1 Hunter green) and I already have a 72 Stage 1 4 speed so I am going to pass. The car you have is going to be beautiful when done especially that color. I had a hard time deciding to get out of line on this one. Richie
