For sale 1972 Skylark GS 455 Stage1 hardtop 4 speed car. Located in Omaha NE. asking $13,500.00 This car has been in dry storage sense 1984. 89K miles. Have clear NE title. Very original unmolested car.
    One of 101 hardtops
    One of 29 with AC
    One of 15 this color
One of 6 with black vinyl top

Options. Stage1, 4 speed with console and buckets, AC, power disk brakes, bumper grads, tilt with rally steering wheel, tack and gauges, rear defogger.

Body, Crystal blue with black vinyl top. Nice hood, bumpers, deck lid and grill. Usable doors, Fenders are fixable, have NOS patch panel for pass side. Drivers side the worst one. Needs core support and wheel wells. Need quarters and outer wheel house, and at least patch panel for inner where it meets the trunk floor. Trunk floor good, trunk drops appear to be good. Floors appear to be good, except the pass front at the seam. All the trim is very nice. All glass is good. Cannot find any major body damage, only minor on pass front bumper and fender, and front center of drivers door. Rear window under side like new. Original wheels, not curbed but have rust. Original spare with nice wheel. Looks like it was repainted once, with some rust repair.

Drive train, complete correct motor, code WS, correct Dist, code 1112016, Carb is one number off, 7042242, should be 43, but I have seen at least 6 on the board with this number. Have not looked for t Trans or rear end codes. Posi tag on rear but wheels turn to easy so it is shot. Correct valve covers, oil cap, radiator tag and cover tag. Frame is crusty, this was an Iowa car. Hole in pan, unknown condition of motor, have complete big car 72 motor to go with car. Have smog pump and bracket and original air cleaner.

Interior, Nice, headliner has one seam loose, no mouse holes. Correct shifter and boot. Have AM radio for the car. Car has Buick floor mats. Nice dash pad. No tears in seats. Good arm rests.

Please post here if interested and then send PM, thanks Bill.

John, no idea, but sold a good friend a 70 455 car a few years ago with about the same hole in the pan and he was able to save the block, and keep the original motor. Thanks Bill.

My understanding of Stage1 carbs was they did not use the Manual trans odd number PN.
All Stage1s got the 242 carb.
